KANTOR LTD CUSTOMER PRIVACY STATEMENT

Kantor Ltd. has always respected the rights of its customers to privacy, as well as your rights to control the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.

"Personal information" refers to recorded information about an identifiable individual and can include your name, home/business address, telephone number, date of birth, as well as some numerical and photo identifiers such as Social Insurance Number (SIN), Driver's License, Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), Passport etc.

With your consent, Kantor collects and uses your personal information only for the following purposes:

• To mail our monthly correspondence to you including your long-distance telephone bills, different discount coupons, fliers etc.
• To build a customers database in order to serve you faster and more efficiently
• To verify your identity in case of need
• To evaluate your credit standing by sharing or exchanging reports with credit reporting agencies
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to help safeguard the financial interests of Kantor Ltd. and its customers
• To meet legal and regulatory requirements

In accordance with the federal government's privacy legislation effective January 1, 2004, we need your consent for the continuing use of your personal information to manage your accounts. This includes sharing this information with our financial services partners.

Under no circumstances does Kantor Ltd. sell or share personal customer information with any unrelated third party for marketing purposes. Your consent to using your personal information by Kantor Ltd. can be either express (oral or written) or implied. An example of express consent is when you sign our application for long-distance services thereby giving your written consent for us to use your personal information such as your name, telephone and address for billing purposes. An example of implied consent is when you apply for our long-distance service over the telephone and start using the service before signing the application form.

Please note that in the event we do not obtain your express consent, we will reserve the right to imply your consent for the purposes specified above until such time as you either provide further written consent, or limit or withdraw you consent.

You should be aware that in the event if you choose to withdraw or refuse your consent, we may not be able to properly service your account, provide our services, and establish and/or maintain an on-going business relationship.

6. Accuracy. We will keep your information accurate, complete and up-to-date.

7. Safeguards. We will protect your personal information with appropriate security safeguards.

8. Openness. We will make specific, understandable information readily available to you about our personal information policies and procedures.

9. Individual Access. When you request it, we will give you access to the existence, use and disclosure of your information. You are entitled to question its accuracy and completeness, and its uses.

10. Challenging Compliance. You are entitled to question the Privacy Officer about our compliance with any of these principles.
