Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. Banks are closed but the markets are still open. It was created to remember the soldiers of World War 1. The day was set aside to remember the fallen soldiers their sacrifices.
I will take the time at 11:11 am this morning to think about the people that have come before me that helped to make this country the best place on Earth.
We have freedoms that allow us to go through our lives without fear or prejudice. We don't have a class system that keeps one group superior to another. We elect our government to serve us the best way we think we need to be served. It is a privilege to live and work in such place.
And it was all made possible by the people that came before us.
We should all remember how lucky we are.
In regards to the biggest news in the market. Look at the price of Bitcoin. Above $80,000 for it first time ever. Gold is falling and Bitcoin is rising. As far as I am concerned, they are in the same asset class in the eyes of the investment community. The feeling is that Bitcoin will be above $100,000, and with the Trump election the market is in BULL mode moving it swiftly in that direction. But be careful, there is obviously a lot of hype associated with this move.
